Toowoomba Heritage Toilet
PHAB was engaged to undertake an archival drawing set of Queensland’s oldest sewered toilet block for Toowoomba Regional Council.

The heritage-listed men’s toilet block was taken apart brick-by-brick and was re-assembled by ‘Queensland Heritage Masonry’ in an alternative location, to make way for Toowoomba’s new “outer circulating road” project.

The toilet was constructed in 1919 as a urinal with a single water closet which was serviced by a removable pan. The toilet was later connected to Toowoomba’s town sewer in 1926.
