Badge Constructions Office – Oxford Street, Bulimba
Situated in the industrial precinct of Bulimba’s Oxford Street, this office building is a continuation of the street’s nearby commercial heart, whilst its architectural language references the adjacent industrial structures.

The use of profiled steel sheet roofing and walling directly references an industrial idiom and, along with other typically external materials, including concrete block and textured plywood, are re-positioned as an integral part of the building’s interior fit-out, alluding to Badge’s construction repertoire. This approach is exemplified in the reception area, where steel coil reinforcement, normally used in concrete column construction, is re-purposed to create a bespoke pendant lamp.
